Revit content management

Your firm has drawn this before.

BIMvault puts every family and every detail your firm has ever produced one search away — reviewed by your best people, loaded into your model in one click. Without leaving Revit.

Beta opens with a small group of firms in 2026. One email when it’s your turn — nothing else.

Why BIMvault

Firms pay for one tool to manage details, another to manage families — and still review content over email. BIMvault is all three.

What BIMvault does

One library. One mental model.

A library item is a family or a detail. Same search, same collections, same review workflow — not two products bolted together.

01 FAMILIES

A library that knows your standards.

Publish families straight from the model — versioned, type-cataloged, and health-checked before they enter the library. Everyone loads the approved version, not the copy from a 2019 project.

02 DETAILS

Details are first-class, not an afterthought.

Publish drafting views from any project. BIMvault reads the text inside them — notes, keynotes, components — so search finds details by what they say, not what someone named them.

03 COLLABORATION

Review it before the whole office uses it.

Draft → in review → approved, enforced per library. Redline markup on previews, threaded comments, and content requests — the review lives with the content, not in email.

Inside Revit

The library docks next to your model.

BIMvault’s panel is the same interface as the web app, docked in Revit. Search, preview, load — no exporting, no browsing server folders, no opening a 2 GB archive model to steal one view.

  • Import detailDrafting view + contents, into the open model

Telemetry, documented

BIM managers get the data. Users keep their privacy.

Content tools shouldn’t feel like workplace surveillance. What BIMvault collects is documented publicly, in plain language — and anything that touches your models is opt-in, per project.

Always on

Version checks and crash reports — the operational data BIM managers actually need. Tool and model events only, and you can read exactly what’s sent.

Never

No keystrokes. No screenshots. No activity monitoring. No per-user leaderboards. Not at launch, not as a “premium insight” later.

Opt-in, per project

Whole-model ingestion and health snapshots stay off until a project is explicitly enabled. NDA work never leaves the office.

Get the tool

Two ways in. Pick either.

BIMvault is in early access — the web app and the Revit add-in share one account and one library.

A ON THE WEB

Try it in the browser.

Browse the library, search details and families, manage your team’s invites, and upload .rfa files — no install needed.

Sign in, or create your firm’s account with an invite code.

B IN REVIT

Install the add-in.

The dockable BIMvault pane for Revit. Run the installer, sign in, and publish your first detail in minutes.

Windows · Revit 2022 – 2026 · free during early access.

Never redraw the same detail twice.
